Chinese Level I September 5, 2014 Friday

We had a new student come today. Yahoo!! Due to the new student, others were able to take turn introducing their names in Chinese and at the end the new student did it in Chinese as well. Fantastic!! We had fun; a couple of students who have young siblings in Chinese immersion program or has basic Chinese background said "pi4 gu3 (butt)" and "ben4 ji1 (stupid chicken)." Students are using what they know to create their own sentences. That was wonderful even though it was funny sentence or ridiculous sometimes.

Besides that we read an article about Justin Bieber and we did the survey about Whether Justin Bieber is a boy or a girl in Chinese.  The new student was able to generated "nan2 hai2 (boy)" in Chinese. HE WAS FATANSTIC, SO THE OTHER STUDENTS.

We did the speedy time reading.
