Last time we time read this story after introducing and reviewing the new words. This time we used the individual whiteboard to practice these words and put them into sentences for the students to listen and to draw according to what they heard.
Today we paired the students and did two activities. Activity One - student A read the story in Chinese sentence by sentence and Student B translate into English sentence by sentence. And then we switched the partners and did the same activity. (6-10 minutes)
Activity Two- Student A read a sentence first as a statement and then ask Student B a question based on the sentence s/he just read. Student B answered the questions and then read another sentence as a statement and then ask Student A questions. (10-12 minutes)
