For Chinese Level I students we learned the following words with TPR and PQA.

坐： sit
坐在 ： sit on
書： book
指一指: point at
拿： take
剪刀： scissors
剪: cut
椅子：chair

And the we acted out the following story several times and at the same time we use TPRStorytelling circling questions. We made flashcards with these words.

一(yí)個(gè)女(nǚ)孩(hái)坐(zuò)在(zài)椅(yǐ)子(zi)上(shàng)看(kàn)書(shū)。

一(yí)個(gè)男(nán)孩(hái)快(kuài)快(kuài)跑(pǎo)到(dào)女(nǚ)孩(hái)那(n)裏。

男(nán)孩(hái)說(shuō)：你(nǐ)給(gěi)我(wǒ)書(shū)，好(hǎo)嗎(ma)？

女(nǚ)孩(hái)說(shuō)：不(bù)好(hǎo)。

男(nán)孩(hái)問(wèn)：爲(wèi)什(shén)麽(me)？

女(nǚ)孩(hái)說(shuō)：我(wǒ)不(bù)喜(xǐ)歡(huān)你(nǐ)。

男(nán)孩(hái)拿(ná)女(nǚ)孩(hái)的(de)書(shū)，跑(pǎo)了(le)。

女(nǚ)孩(hái)不(bù)高(gāo)興(xìng)， 女(nǚ)孩(hái)拿(ná)剪(jiǎn)刀(dāo)剪(jiǎn)男(nán)孩(hái)的(de)頭(tóu)髮(f)。

男(nán)孩(hái)哭(kū)了(le)。

For Chinese Level II & III we learned the following words with PQA and TPR ....

長(cháng)  = long

短(duǎn) = short

太(tài) = too

腳(jiǎo) = feet/legs

看(kàn)到(dào) = saw

看(kàn)不(bù)到(dào) = cannot see, couldn't see

沒(méi)有(yǒu)看(kàn)到(dào) = didn't see

拿(ná) = take

拿(ná)了(le) = took

And then we made flashcards, and the flashcards game. Next, we read the story with TPRStorytelling circling questions. At the end we did the quiz.

星(xīng)期(qī)天(tiān)，David 和(hé)她(tā)爸(bà)爸(ba)去(qù)商(shāng)店(diàn)買(mǎi)衣(yī)服(fu)。

David看(kàn)到(dào)一(yì)條(tiáo)咖(kā)啡(fēi)色(sè)的(de)褲(kù)子(zi)。他(tā)很(hěn)喜(xǐ)歡(huan)。

David穿(chuān)上(shǎng)褲(kù)子(zi)，他(tā)看(kàn)不(bú)到(dào)他(tā)的(de)腳(jiǎo)。

他(tā)說(shuō)：這(zhè)條(tiáo)褲(kù)子(zi)太(tài)長(cháng)了(le)，可(kě)是(shì)我(wǒ)很(hěn)喜(xǐ)歡(huān)。我(wǒ)要(yào)買(mǎi)。

爸(bà)爸(ba)拿(ná)了(le)剪(jiǎn)刀(dāo)，用(yòng)剪(jiǎn)刀(dāo)剪(jiǎn)褲(kù)子(zi)。

現(xiàn)在(zài)，褲(kù)子(zi)短(duǎn)了(le)。
