Chinese Level III September 10, 2014 Wednesday

We did the quiz at the beginning of the class and corrected them. I stamped some students who didn't do well at the quiz. Next, students copied down the 'new' words which are actually the reviewing words to them. After the 'new' words we passed out the story about Mrs. Duke got too excited. We paired the students. Students read aloud to themselves first up to 3 minutes and then read to their partner up to 3 minutes and to 1 and half minutes. At the end we added up the times that students read within these 4 and half minutes. We have Michael, Harrison, Addi, Aurora, Miah, Tyler, Noah, Harris, Brent, Collin, and Kaden had more times than their partners or tie.
Here is the quiz. And then students were given a sheet of paper with 4 pictures that they drew last time. They needed to retell the story to their partner up to 1 minute, non-stop; then retell the story up to 1 and half minutes. At the end they were given 6 minutes to rewrite the story according to the pictures.
We also had Harrison, Noah, and Addi do their calendar presentation at the end of the class.

Once you get into the classroom, please open your quiz book (notebook) to do the quiz.
